WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
VOL. 52 ISSUE 11 MARCH 17, 2015 P63
Briefly...
Ryan Dungey's Indy Supercross win
was his second in a row at Lucas Oil
Stadium, his third in a row and fifth
of the season in the 2015 season,
but perhaps more importantly his-
torically speaking, is that the victory
moved Dungey into a tie for ninth on
the all-time AMA Supercross wins
list. Dungey now has 19-career Su-
percross wins. That ties him with Da-
mon Bradshaw for ninth.
Ryan Dungey said he feels the key
to being successful in the champion-
ship this year is to not focus on the
big lead he has in the series at this
point. "It's just race by race and I just
don't think about it," he said. When
asked how he'll be able to concen-
trate now that he has nearly a full
two-race cushion in the points. "I
know it in the back of my mind, but
we've worked hard to get in this posi-
tion and that's what I've got to keep
building on. It's important not to think
too far ahead."
Jason Anderson appeared to be
taken out by Blake Baggett in the
first timed qualifying session at Indy.
Anderson retaliated and slammed
into Baggett later in the session and
both riders were black flagged and
kept out of the final minutes of the
session. Neither Baggett nor An-
derson wanted to comment on the
incident. Anderson would only say
that Baggett's take-out move was
"completely random." Baggett was
overheard talking with an official be-
fore the second session saying he
"wasn't a dirty rider." Neither was giv-
en any penalties other than missing
that last part of the first timed qualify-
ing session.

hatever happened to Mr. Consistency? You know, the
Ryan Dungey we all knew and loved. The nice guy
who always put it in the top five, but we were all just a
little frustrated with because he didn't seem to have that fire in
his belly to win? Well he's gone now, thank you very much. Are
you happy with the monster you've created?
