The Avade is a heated compression jersey made
from lightweight, breathable synthetic-fiber mate-
rial, which is designed to not retain heat when
the heating elements are off. It has strategically-
placed carbon-fiber heating zones and three
heating-level positions, which are controlled by
a convenient wrist-mounted LED switch. The
lightweight, quick-charging, lithium battery can
be recharged more than 500 times with the sup-

The MAV2 helmet from MSR is a mid-priced helmet
with high-end features. The impact-absorbing EPS
liner of the MAV2 fills in the peaks
and valleys of the helmet shell for
improved impact-absorbing prop-
erties. The shell has a round-oval
head shape and uses antimicrobial
moisture-wicking SilverCool material
in the interior. It has a strengthened
