matter much to Russell. He got
off to a fast start by capturing the
$250 All Balls Racing Holeshot
Award just ahead of his team-
mate Russell Bobbitt, the Nation-
al Enduro contender who was
making a guest appearance.
It wasn't all smooth sailing for
Kailub Russell in the early going,
as he had a couple of bouts with
mud holes, the first costing him
the lead on the first lap. He sud-
denly dropped to fourth.
"I lost a few positions, but
once I recovered we got to
another mud hole and I went
straight through it while the
others went around. That line
allowed me to move back into
second, and then shortly after,
