straight at him as the two went
over a jump side by side, but
Dungey knew Tomac was a lap
down and let him go.
"I don't know what was go-
ing on there," Dungey said of
Tomac's tactics. "I saw that
and was being respectful of
him. I backed it way down the
last couple of laps since I was
fortunate enough to have a big
lead."
Dungey became the fifth
rider in history to win back-
to-back races in Indianapolis.
Interestingly, in the 23 races
held in Indianapolis, the winner
of the race has gone on to win
the 450SX class Championship
17 times.
SEELY'S SECOND PODIUM
At Indy, rookie Cole Seely
scored his second podium
finish of the season, matching
his second at Anaheim III. After
getting around Andrew Short
early on, Seely ran second all

Series contender Trey Canard
talked about his crash in practice. "I
definitely thanked the Lord," he said.
"I got ejected from the bike and went
about 15-20 feet and landed straight
on my shoulder. It's always good to

Things went from bad to worse in
Canard's heat race where he got his
front wheel taken out from under him
and crashed.

Suzuki camp is that he is hoping to
return by Houston. Justin Barcia is
still out of action and was joined on
the sidelines this week by Josh Hill
and Mike Alessi, who both suffered
injuries the weekend before at Day-
tona.
Drones were being tested at the

Officials are testing the feasibility of
having video from drones during the
races, but they say right now it's ear-
ly and they're just being looked at as
a future possibility.
Andrew Short nailed the holeshot
in the Indy Supercross main on
his BTO Sports KTM. He parlayed
that start into one of the best fin-
ishes of the season in sixth. That
was good enough to keep him four
points ahead of Broc Tickle in ninth
in the standings. "The starts were
my strong point tonight," Short ex-
plained. "I ended up sixth, which was
a lot better than the previous week-
end in Daytona. I feel like the last
couple of weekends were tough on
me physically and I'm trying to come
out of that hole a little bit. Overall it
Justin Bogle (1) gets
the jump in the 250

looking for his first
win of 2015.
