SUPERCROSS MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES, AN FIM WORLD ROUND 10 / MARCH 7, 2015 DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY / DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA P80 "That was the goal, to come in and try to podium here," said Baggett. "I really like the place. I have really good luck here. I've had two wins, a second, and then a fourth. To come in and get another third in the premier class, 450, racing against the guys that I looked up to, Dungey, and just to come out swinging and be able to be up front and battle with those guys…I fell back a little bit and had some things happen but definitely it was a solid night for me and I'm excited. I'll build on that." Near the end of the race, when the track was at its rough- est, was when Baggett really shined, even though things on the track seemed to be getting kind of crazy. "I was trying to search around and find some lines," said Baggett. "It was just an all-out brawl out there. By the time you took a tear-off there was already dirt and mud back on your goggles, so you were waiting to pull another one. But I kind of got shuffled back and was able to capitalize on Seely going down and then was able to work my way back. I passed Short and passed Peick, so just basically rode clean, rode my own race and let everything hap- pen around me and found myself back in third." SEELY IMPRESSES AGAIN "I got off to a great start," said fourth-place finisher Seely. "I was second from all the way outside. The starts were com- ing from wide, so I knew I had a fighting chance out there. Just got into third and then Dungey and me were bump- ing a little bit. I don't really take too kindly to that kind of stuff, so I just bumped him back but unfortunately that put me on the ground, not him. I got up, fought hard and got back to fourth. It's always really tough when you've got to pick your bike back up in the middle of a race to get going again. It takes a lot out of you and we're here in Daytona, so it's definitely one of the more tir- ing 20 laps I've ever done." As of late, Seely has become a force to be reckoned with, and actually posted the second-fast- est lap time in the main event. "Once I got into third I could see spots where I was faster than Ryan," said Seely. "I put on a charge to try for the win. Un- fortunately I could have probably been a little more patient or even a little more aggressive in that case because I hit the ground. It's hard to pick your bike up and get going, but it's especially hard in Daytona. From there it was about putting in good laps and overall I'm pretty happy with fourth." Rounding out the top five was Chad Reed, the Discount Tire/ TwoTwo Motorsport's rider tak- ing advantage of a good gate pick after winning his heat race. 250 EAST MAIN MUSQUIN'S MOVING OUT Marvin Musquin is definitely the man to beat in the East Regional 250 SX class, having now won three of the four races held so far. Despite not getting the great- est jump off the line in the main, the Red Bull KTM rider seems to have a knack for turning a bad Justin Bogle is still looking for that first win but was satisfied with second in the 250 main.
