Champion Tyler Medaglia made
an appearance at the opening
round, finishing an impres-
sive fifth overall for the day.
Medaglia joined an onslaught of
Husqvarna machines inside the
top 10 running with big support
from Husky Canada and Parts
Canada. Sipes settled into the
sixth place position despite his
big crash after the halfway point.
N-Fab AmPro Yamaha team-
mates Grant Baylor and Ashburn
finished seventh and eighth,
respectively. HR Motorsports-
backed Takeshi Koikeda fin-
ished ninth and Cory Graffunder
rounded out the top 10.
XC2 Pro Lites
Pennsylvania's Tegan Temple
grabbed the $100 Hot Cams
Holeshot Award to start off the
XC2 Pro Lites race, but Davis,
on the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC
KR4/FAR Husqvarna, made his
way to the front by lap two. Once
he was out in front, Davis never
looked back and took the win 35
seconds ahead of Ricky Russell
on the Raines Riding University/
Atlas Yamaha/OffRoadViking.

Russell started off the race in
fifth, dropped back to sixth for a
Josh Strang was Russell's
nearest competitor.
