battled for most of the race.
Hampshire was putting in his
best ride of the year but eventu-
ally gave up fourth to Savatgy
with two laps remaining in the
race. Fifth, however, is a big
confidence booster for the SX
rookie.
"It was a great race but I've
just been struggling a bit," said
Hampshire. "I felt decent tonight.
Jeremy Martin filled out the 250 podium with third.
Andrew Short looked strong
early in the 450 main. He led
until Dungey came calling.
I got good starts. I should have
had a top five; it was completely
my fault, I just made a couple
