UNS T OPPABLE?
The one rider who was definitely not
bummed on his night was Dungey. The
Red Bull KTM Team rider came into the
weekend with continued confidence,
even though he didn't win last weekend.
He rebounded with a solid performance
at Atlanta II, leading the race from lap six
on to nab his third win of the year. Dungey
now has a full race lead in the series (25
points), his nearest rival being Canard.
Dungey was solid all day long. He was
quickest in qualifying and he made a nice
pass on Peick to grab the lead in the main.
From then on, it was all Dungey.
"I knew they were there," Dungey said
of the hectic early laps. "At first I thought
it was Trey behind me, then I saw it was
Tomac on the leaderboard. I could see
them as I was coming on the 180s, and I
tried to just really do my laps."
