totally on their game today, run-
ning fast, so to end up with third
is decent."
Davalos was disappointed in
fourth after leading the first nine
laps of the main.
"Last weekend it was a
struggle for me," said Davalos.
"The bike setup didn't feel good
and we worked a lot this week.
But I rode tight. It's been a while
since the injury riding up front.
Those guys are coming from
some momentum, outdoors and
everything. They gave me a run
for my money and I rode as hard
as I could. I tightened up a little
bit, but it's going to be great rac-
ing throughout the year. I defi-
nitely felt like I have the speed
now. We've just got to put some
solid laps in at the end."
Monster Energy Pro Circuit
Kawasaki's Joey Savatgy rode a
solid race to finish fifth, finishing
four seconds ahead of Smart-
tops Honda's Vince Friese.
Meanwhile, JAB Kawasaki's
Matt Lemoine and Yamalube/
Star Racing Yamaha's Anthony
Rodriguez rounded out the top
eight. CN
