Reed pulled his 44

career win
out of his hat to become the fifth
different winner in the elite divi-
sion, out-running Ryan Dungey
in a race that kept the crowd on
its feet almost the whole way.
Reed's last win came at Anaheim
3 last year. (He also won Ana-
heim 2 that same year.)
The 450 points standings got
shuffled around a bit, much to
do with Ken Roczen going down
early in the main, salvaging an

th
by the end of the race, drop-
ping the RCH/Soaring Eagle/
Jimmy Johns Suzuki rider to
third, 31 points out of the lead,
as Team Honda HRC's Trey
Canard, third on the night in At-
lanta, moved up into the runner-
up slot in the standings.
