Yamaha Parts and Accessories and Yoshimura R&D of
America are now collaborating to deliver a new line of high-
performance, emissions-compliant, slip-on exhaust systems
custom engineered for Yamaha's
YZF-R1M, YZF-R1, and YZF-R3
sportbikes. Featuring a custom "R"
badge, they come in a choice of
finishes that include stainless-steel,
carbon-fiber, or a mix of the two.
The first of these Y-Series slip-ons
will be available for the Yamaha
YZF-R3, followed soon after for
fitment on the YZF-R1M/YZF-R1
models. They will only be available
from Yamaha-authorized brick-and-
mortar dealers.

Enduro Engineering's Skid Plates have been
refined to increase their quality and durability.
They have larger slot-filled wings to better pro-
tect covers and the water pump, but without
an increase in weight, while a new flap on the
front keeps front-wheel roost from packing in
between the plate and cases. There are holes
for draining oil without having to remove the
plate. The plates are manufactured from
CNC-machined 5052H32 aluminum alloy
and come with billet-aluminum mounting
hardware.
