bit. We already improved a
bit today, but we need to do
some more testing and make
some more kilometers."
The top-10 were all within
a second of Rossi, the near-

Dani Pedrosa by .129 of a

brother Aleix on the factory
Suzuki.
In fifth was Rossi's team-
mate Jorge Lorenzo who
edged out Sepang one
leader Marc Marquez on the
Repsol Honda by .028 of a
second.
Brits, CWM LCR Honda's
Cal Crutchlow and Monster
Yamaha Tech 3's Bradley
Smith ended the day sev-
enth and eighth, respec-
tively. In ninth was MotoGP
rookie Maverick Vinales
on the other factory Suzuki
machine ahead of Ducati
Team's Andrea Dovizioso.
Dovizioso set his top-
10 time (2:01.355) on the
GP14.3 bike before switch-
ing to his new GP15. Unfor-
tunately for the Ducati Team,
the bad weather cut testing
the much-awaited new Mo-
toGP machine and Dovizio-
so was only able to put in 17
laps to record his best time
on the GP15 a 2:01.692. His
teammate Andrea Iannone
logged 26 laps to end the
day 15th with a 2:02.142.
