"There's definitely a fine line of knowing what to do, especially in race season with everything that wears on a rider," said Dungey. "With Aldon, I trust him and I be- lieve in his program. Before it was me, "what do I Monday? What do I do Tuesday? How do I go about this week?" Where if you look at his pro- gram, Aldon has built this program. He's got the whole year laid out. It's just, I don't have that expertise to know what to do. So I give it to him and I trust him." The injured Wil Hahn was on hand at the race to cheer on his Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Davi Millsaps, and even helped with the television broadcast. He also talked about his status with his injury. "I just got out of my back brace this week, so about six weeks out of injury re- covery right now," said Hahn. "They want me off the bike three months. Right now it's just sort of the recov- ery process and therapy with Dr. G down in Cosa Mesa. For me right now it's just trying to get healthy. I'll keep updating myself with x-rays and see where I'm at healing-wise and all that. Once I get the clear I'm going to be back on my bike, but right now I just started to do light spin bike. Right now I still can't do any impact due to my back so I still have to be continued on next page Ryan Dungey rarely celebrates while still on the bike, but he did this time with a heal clicker in tribute to Marvin Musquin's win earlier on.
