WALKER TACKLES HELL'S GATE

he 2015 Hard Enduro season
got underway with the most
difficult edition of Hell's Gate tak-
ing place in the Tuscan Moun-
tains above Lucca in Italy, Feb-
ruary 14. Riders battled not only
the rugged terrain but also the
weather, as rain and snow added
yet another element to the notori-
ous event.
After the field of over 100 rid-
ers had been whittled down to
only 14 riders, Red Bull KTM's
Jonny Walker battled his way
through the steam and snow in
the final race up "Hell's Peak" to
claim the overall victory.
"That's the hardest race I've
ever done," Walker said.
Unfortunately for Graham Jar-
vis—who had won the event every
year since 2011—the weekend
was nothing short of disastrous.
The Bel-Ray Husqvarna Factory
racer had high hopes of taking
his fifth-consecutive victory at
the Italian event, and appeared
