spot on the podium after moving
up from sixth to third place. In
a dramatic last-lap pass, Seeds
took the final podium position
from Justin Jones.
"Unfortunately I pumped up
pretty bad early in the race, and
I just told myself to breathe and
hang onto those guys," said
Seeds. "Once I pitted, that kind
of relaxed me and I got my little
specialty drink and I just said 'I
can do this and whatever hap-
pens, happens.'
"I was riding out of control
trying to go as fast as I could,
and I didn't think it was going to
happen, but I ended up getting
by Jones at the end. I was just
going for it wide open, and he
pushed me super hard into a
corner. I just braked later than
him, and I almost killed my bike,
but I made the pass work."
Hinson Honda's Justin Jones
ran another impressive race and
even worked his way up into
second place heading into the
final hour, but he lost a few spots
in the second half of the race
and went on to finish fourth.

had to settle for
fourth in Primm.
