IN THE WIND P38 MOVISTAR YAMAHA UNVEILS 2015 LIVERY V alentino Rossi and teammate Jorge Lorenzo were on hand for the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team unveiling in Madrid, Spain, last Wednesday. The cer- emony saw the 2015 Yamaha YZR-M1 revealed in its new colors as well as a revised and resized Movistar logo and a refreshed livery. Also presented were the team's new partners: Abarth that joins Yamaha on a two-year partnership, and Cromax, the global coat- ings brand for refinish body shops. "The new bike is really beautiful," Rossi said. "I really like it. Now I want to meet up with my team and work with all of them to achieve the best pos- sible results. It will be a very interesting season. I will have very strong opponents, starting from my teammate who will surely be better prepared this winter. It will be important to do a good test and arrive at the first race with everything in the right place, then we will be ready to fight for victory." The Movistar Yamaha team head to Malaysia for the first test of 2015 at the Sepang circuit. ENDUROCROSS RETAINS GEICO G EICO will again serve as the title sponsor of the 2015 AMA EnduroCross Championship. This marks the ninth year that GEICO has been a major partner in the indoor off-road motorcycle rac- ing series. In 2007, the first year that EnduroCross became a multi-round series, GEICO became a presenting sponsor. GEICO expanded their involvement in 2008, to become the title sponsor and the series has been known as the GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship ever since. "We are excited to be a part of a fast-paced, high energy sport that embraces all aspects of the com- petitive racing spirit," said Ted Ward, GEICO Vice President of Marketing. "Our long-standing part- nership with AMA EnduroCross is a testament to our commitment to connect with a growing legion of passionate race fans." "GEICO has played a major role in helping to grow the sport of EnduroCross over the years so we can't thank them enough for their long term partnership" said Lance Bryson, Director of Sales and Marketing for EnduroCross. The GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship will make its first ever visit to Daytona, Florida, to kick off the 2015 series. The event will take place inside the Ocean Center on Friday, March 6, just a few miles down the road from the famed Speed- way that will host the Monster Energy Supercross series the following night.
