JR RACING ARE ISLAND NO-SHOWS
T
he JR Racing Team, with Troy Corser leading the technical arm of the
new BMW customer entry in World Superbike this year, will be unable
to field their riding duo of Ayrton Badovini and Toni Elias at the Phillip Is-
land season opener due to "bureaucratic and logistical problems."
"We like to work correctly and do things the right way," said Team
Owner Chary Robinson. "And because of that it would have been im-
possible to get all the logistics sorted out in time to get Toni Elias and
Ayrton Badovini's bikes shipped to Phillip Island for the race."
The team is now working on being at round two, at the Chang Inter-
national Circuit in Thailand, March 22.

Both Repsol riders Marc Mar-

Sepang. "It's my first time here in
Bali and it's wonderful to see all
the fans here and feel their en-
thusiasm for MotoGP," Marquez
said. "Tomorrow we leave for
Malaysia, I've trained a lot during
last month to prepare myself for
these first two tests in Sepang,
and I'm excited to be with my
crew again and see how the new
bike is working after Valencia
