Bobbitt felt he rode a decent
race, but says he needs a little
more time to get to where he
feels comfortable on the bike.
"I wasn't lighting the world on
fire, but I was consistent," said
Bobbitt. "I just had too many
mistakes, a couple of crashes,
which cost me a podium. I had
a big get-off in the fourth test,
which kind of sent me for a loop.
I'm happy with the bike, so it's
just a matter of a few tweaks,
maybe some gearing changes."
Cory Buttrick had his best day
the track here, too, which helps.
It's a little tighter and twistier, and
I like that, too. It stinks that Kai-
lub got me in the last test, but I'm
happy to be on the podium."
Four-time National Enduro
champ Russell Bobbitt missed
the podium by just five seconds
behind Bakken. Like Baylor,
Bobbitt also missed most of last
season due to an injury (Bobbitt
