ANAHEIM III 250 WEST SUPERCROSS WINNER COOPER WEBB

T
he moral of the last two West 250 Super-
cross races is: don't piss Cooper Webb off.
Not that the young Yamalube Star Racing
Yamaha rider needs any extra motivation. Webb
has only missed the podium once (A1), scoring
three victories in five races and a second at the
previous round in Oakland.
A lot of those races have been hard-fought bat-
tles through the pack, so when Webb got a good
start and took the lead earlier than he had in any
other race, he was visibly less than happy when
the red flag came out with six laps in the books.
"I was actually pissed off," Webb said. "I finally
got a good start, made it easy on myself, and then
I didn't know why they red flagged it so I was like
freaking out. I calmed down and then luckily got
