pions from nearly every
discipline of motorcycle
competition. Aside from
headliners Mees, Wiles,
Halbert and three-time
WSBK Champion Bayliss,
other names included
three-time Speedway World
Champion Jason Crump;
World Supersport Cham-
pion and MotoGP race
winner Chris Vermeulen;
eight-time Australian
MX Champion and AMA
MX rider Jay Marmont;
MotoGP star Jack Miller;
German Superbike-based
Aussie Damian Cud-
lin; MotoGP rider Broc
Parkes; former AMA dirt
tracker Michael Kirkness;
three-time Australian Su-
perbike Champion Shawn
Giles and former MotoGP,
WSBK and World Endur-
ance rider Peter Goddard.
There were also many
riders who had earned their
stripes racing in the USA
at the TBC. Along racing
with Kirkness and God-
dard, who spent a couple of
years racing AMA dirt track
in the '80s before switch-
ing to road racing, were

Buckmaster; AMA Super-
