Legends race saw multi-time Austra-
lian Dirt Track Champion Chris Wat-
son top the points on 63 with 1-2-5
results ahead of former AMA Super-
sport rider Damon Buckmaster on
58 with 4-4-2 finishes. Third place
went to motocross legend Stephen
Gall on 53. Shawn Giles and Jeff
Leisk rounded out the top five.
Michael Kirkness took the 'hard
dude' award after suffering a sus-
pected broken left ankle in the open-
ing TBC heat race. Kirkness came
together with Jack Miller and Jay
Marmont, both Marmont and Kirk-
ness hitting the deck. Then Damian
Cudlin was next on the scene and
took a full hit from Kirkness' flying
Honda, breaking his clutch lever off
but thankfully not sustaining any per-
sonal damage. Kirkness also sepa-
rated his shoulder in the crash but,
"popped it in; it comes out pretty
easy these days…" he said. He tried
