Our cover story wasn't really a story at all but a guide of all of the local racing
clubs around the country, which also included an in-depth calendar of the
year's upcoming major races… The third issue of 1975 was only 32 pages
and was dedicated mostly to local racing… We announced Honda's official
motocross team for the upcoming season. It was made up of Tommy Croft,
Rich Eierstedt, Pierre Karsmakers and Marty
Smith.

We featured Ricky Graham on the Honda RS500D in action on the cover 30
years ago to accompany our in-depth look at the bike, more specifically the
motor, that carried him to a national TT victory in 1984… A.J. Whiting, Ron
Lechien and Mike Fisher were the big winners at the third round of the CMC
Golden State Series at Sunrise Cycle Park in California… Rodney Barr,
Scooter Stafford and Steve Martin were the fast guys on the other side of
the country at the Florida Winter-AMA Series
at Wheelsport MX Park… We took a spin on
Chris Crandall's B-To-V winning ATK 560.

Ricky Carmichael graced the cover 10 years ago for ending his two-year
Supercross dry spell with a win at the second round in Phoenix. The win also
ended Suzuki's long win drought in the premier (250cc) class… Making the
night even sweeter for Team Makita Suzuki was teammate Broc Hepler's win
in the 125cc Western Region. It was Hepler's first win in the series… Across
the country in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida, AMA Superbike riders were
testing Dunlop tires in preparation for the season opener in March.

of the U.S. Supercross Series at Orlando, Florida. Tim Ferry also got a
piece of the cover for winning the 125cc class after a heated battle with
Mickael Pichon… We also featured a close-up look at many of the bikes
ridden by the stars of the 1995 Supercross Series… Craig Decker and
Bader Manneh were the stars of the CMC Golden State Series at Sunrise
Cycle Park… Jim Chester and Keith Johnson
