HRC's Joan Barreda had a great start
in the Dakar Rally, taking control of
the race on Stage 2 and strategically
pacing the defending champion Marc
Coma throughout the first week. But
disaster on Stage 8 has taken Barreda
out of contention for the win at the
Dakar Rally.
