point I kind of put it in cruise
control to the finish."
He was two minutes and 47
seconds behind Blythe at the
checkers.
Burson inherited third
after Abbott dropped out and
admitted, "The last two laps I
got pretty winded. I don't think
you could sit down anywhere;
my back's just smoked.
"The first couple laps I felt
really good. I passed a lot
of people! I think I was dead
last leaving the line. I had a
good start then [Alex Dorsey]
crashed in front of me. I
slowed down and still hit him,
and a bunch of guys passed
me, so I was pinning it through
the little moto section and I
crashed again! I think I was
one of the last guys out of the
moto section.
"I pinned it and caught
all the way up to where my
teammate Axel [Pearson]
was—I think fourth or fifth—

move to the front and won the
FMF 250cc race by almost two
minutes over Nick Stover and
Knight.
