KLAMFOTH FIRE UPDATE
D
ick Klamfoth and his wife Bev are still recovering from
the devastating fire that consumed all of their worldly
possessions the morning of December 20. The Klamfoths
wanted to express their gratitude and were very humbled by
the many great expressions of concern and love, as well as
the donations and other assistance they received.
Their days are pretty consumed lately
with matters dealing with insurance, rebuild
plans and numerous other details. One
big concern they have is the people who
may have ordered a plaque this year for the
Monument in Daytona Beach. All of their re-
cords were consumed in the fire, so if you
ordered a plaque this year, please contact
Bev at 614-597-5512 as soon as possible to
make sure she has your information.
Also, they want everyone to know that
their two big annual events during Daytona
Bike Week are still planned as scheduled.
On Wednesday, March 11 at 11:30 a.m. is
the Daytona Monument Party at the Dayto-
na 200 Monument (located along the beach
walkway just north of the Main Street Pier).
Then, on Thursday, March 12, there is the
21
st
annual "Over the Hill Gang" Breakfast
at the Elks Club in Port Orange. Informa-
tion and confirmations can be made with
Bev at 614-579-5512 or email: klamfothr@
aol.com.
Weston Peick suffered a broken foot at the Phoenix
Supercross, but chances are that he'll still race Anaheim II.
