ing Husqvarna's Zach Osborne it
was satisfying to leave Anaheim
with his best Supercross finish,
second place, in spite of a bro-
ken thumb.
"It feels great," Osborne said.
"It's a little bitter sweet because
of my thumb. But, it [to finish out
the night on the podium] is great
for Husqvarna, and it's not only
great for the team, but for the en-
tire company as well. Everyone
has put in so much to get us to
this point, on this level; it's not
like we're racing out of box vans,
it's the full deal. We have four
guys that are good and it's a huge
effort. We're all putting so much
into this, and we're all excited to
take it to the top and that's what
we are going to do."
Osborne suffered the broken
thumb crashing out of the heat
race after he and Tyler Bowers
made contact fighting for the
win. So he not only toughed it out
through the 15 lap main, but also
the LCQ he won to get to the final.
Yeah, he may be a Supercross
rookie, but Monster Energy Ka-
wasaki Pro Circuit's Bowers
brings the experience of four
AMA Arenacross Championships
to the table. So he's not spooked
easily, as was seen at the season
opener. The reigning Arenacross
champ fought hard to earn his
heat win and meet his expecta-
tions of getting his first Super-
cross podium if not the win.
"My goal here was to be on
