coming into the race. Cianciarulo dis-
located his shoulder during a crash
in qualifying and then had it pop out
again during the main event. The Mon-
ster Energy Kawasaki rider skipped
the remainder of the series after scor-
ing just one point in Toronto, leaving
his teammate, Martin Davalos to inher-
it the points lead.
"In this series, anything can hap-
pen, so you can never give up; you
have to keep on pushing," says Bogle.
"I didn't think of my injury as an excuse
and I wouldn't wish something like that
on anyone else."
Unfortunately, Davalos also dropped
out of the series when he broke his
ankle while practicing during the week
leading up to the New Jersey round.
After finishing second to Davalos in St.
Louis, Bogle grabbed another win in
New Jersey.
"New Jersey was a fun race," says
Bogle. "It was kid of a weird situation;
there was a lot of pressure coming into
that race. A lot of guys had been get-
ting hurt and I had kind of a strange
feeling about the race. I knew I had to
go out and do good, and it was a lot of
pressure, but I kind of welcome that. It
keeps me on my toes and focused on
the task at hand. I went out and had a
great heat race and an awesome main
event. The conditions were kind of dif-
ferent with the rain coming in. I had
never ridden a Supercross in the rain
