IN THE WIND P22 BLAZUSIAK TOPS WORLD ENDURO OPENER T addy Blazusiak drew first blood in the FIM Su- perEnduro World Championship at the Ergo, Arena in Gdansk, Poland, December 6. The Red Bull KTM Team rider dominated the opening round of racing. In the three-moto final, Blazusiak won them all in front of the home-country crowd. Second overall went to fellow KTM rider David Knight, while recently crowned AMA EnduroCross Champion Cody Webb, in his first race on the FMF/ RPM KTM, ended up third overall for the night. FMF/KTM Team rider Taylor Robert took sixth overall. "The track conditions were very different and I struggled and had some simple crashes which just hurt my overall results," said Webb. "To come out with a third place result is actually pleasing after the day I had so I am happy to be on the podium." FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis' Ty Tre- maine claimed the win in the Junior class. The 19-year-old rider from Nevada, who recently won the AMA EnduroCross Junior Championship, post- ed the fastest time in the Junior practice and went on to dominate the three heat races going 1-1-1. "The track was tight and there was a lot of carnage," said Tremaine "I just rode safe, smart, and tried not to make mistakes. I was able to come out on top." Joining Husqvar- na really brings back memories, and puts a lot of excitement back into my rac- ing program. "I am confident that Husqvar- na can give me everything I need to win another GNCC Championship," Strang added. "I'm really happy with this deci- sion and can't wait to get things rolling!" "I'm excited about the opportunity Strang brings to the team on the GNCC front," said Husky Team Manager Timmy Weigand. "He has a lot of experi- ence with 14 career wins and a championship under his belt. We are confident that with Husqvarna Fac- tory Racing behind him, Josh will be on top again in 2015."
