in and the track became even
more challenging than ever.
Friday's SoCal reunion race
saw JD Myerscough take the
win over Willy Simons and Darrin
Hoeft in the Expert division, while
Mike Sleeter came away with the
win in the Pro division in front of
David Pingree.
On Saturday Taylor Robert was
on fire, grabbing the victory in the
FMF 2-Stroke Revival Pro race
over Sean Collier and Colton
Udall, as well as taking the win
in the Pro/Am GP later in the day
in front of Sebastien Tortelli and
Toby Price.
Former National Champion
Jeff Ward scored the win in Sat-
urday's Stunt GP with his son
Ayrton Ward in the Father/Son
division but finished second to
another Ward—Gordon Ward—in
the Vet Moto-X race.
The final race of the weekend—
the famous Coup De Grace—was
a test of both man and machine
as the Glen Helen course was
anything but pretty after three
days of racing. Mother Nature
threw in an added element with
some rain on Sunday, which was
welcome relief from the dry con-
ditions, but also made for some
sloppy and slippery terrain. In the
end though, it was KTM's Toby
Price who would cross the fin-
ish line victorious in the grueling
hour-and-a-half race. CN
