CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R I am truly torn on his [McGrath's] turning to the green machine, but I'm happy for him. Not Diggin' NHRA I enjoy and I'm in support of all forms of motorcycle racing except for one: Pro Stock drag racing. The bikes are every- thing but stock—especially the V-twins, which win because of rule biases anyway. NHRA, please either change the rules to mandate stock-based cylinders, heads and transmis- sion, or change the name of the class. When the bikes and class name are congruent, I will find it interesting. Dayn Mansfield Los Angeles, CA Diggin' Cycle News For the 25 years or so when Cycle News showed up on my doorstep in print, to now in the digital format, CN has never stopped keeping me up to date with all aspects of motorcycle racing. I've lost count of how many foreign hotel rooms I've been sitting in late at night and being so appreciative of CN as it's helped me stay close with my extended family of throttle twisters. This time I'm sitting in a hotel room in Cozumel, Mexico, getting ready for a 100-mile bi- cycle race and, with just a few keystrokes, there's all I need to know about Andrew Hines, Robby Bell and Nicky Hayden— fabulous! Thank you for the space given to Kenny Zahrt. KZ was a SoCal hero of mine and he was always a real sweetheart of a guy. Zapata Espinoza Via the Internet Kenny Zahrt It was Kenny in his Dirt Bikes days that got me hooked on motocross. Even growing up and racing in New England, he was the very first motocross racer I had seen pictures of. RIP, Kenny, somehow you influenced so many of us no matter where we rode. Jim Boschen Via Facebook 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track Schedule Yeah! Castle Rock! Great news for NW enthusiasts. All we need is for MotoAmerica to bring in their hands and minds of excellence into the Flat Track family of two-wheel racing. After they continue to clean house from the DMG hoarders that used to live there! John A. Stockman Via the Internet McGrath to Kawasaki I thought Honda was finally giving him room to do all kinds of creative motocross related things. I don't want to sound cynical, but I hope this isn't a case of following the money. He stands to leave such a rich legacy in the sport through things like the Speed and Style competition. Still, I'm curious to see how his involvement with Kawi will help guys like Cian- ciarulo. Brad Bickers Via the Internet I'm not a diehard Honda fan but that (Honda's press release thanking Jeremy McGrath for his long service with the com- pany…Editor) was classy. That's how you treat people who have worked for you and pushed your product. Respect. Robert Roth Jr Via the Internet My blood is Honda red, 2004 CR250R. I am truly torn on his [McGrath's] turning to the green machine, but I'm happy for him. I bet Honda wished they'd come up with that deal first. If I were them, I'd surely be kicking myself having had not thought of that first! Lonny Rabalais Via the Internet Letters to the editor can be sent to voices@cyclenews.com. Published letters do not necessarily reflect the position of Cycle News. Letters should not exceed 150 words and are subject to editing. Anonymous letters won't be considered for publication and each letter should contain the writer's name, address and daytime phone number… Editor P16
