Investcorp, a leading global pro- vider and manager of alternative investment products, announced that it has reached an agreement with Lino Dainese to acquire the specialist Italian retailer Dainese at an enterprise value of $162 mil- lion. Mr. Dainese will retain a mi- nority stake in the business along- side Investcorp. "It was hugely important to us to find the right partner in this period of strong development for the company," Dainese said. "I believe that In- vestcorp's proven track record, global presence and network will support the Company's contin- ued international expansion and product innovation. I also believe that their support will enable me to refocus on my passion, driving forward technological advances in our product line and, in particu- lar, the D-Air system." Beta USA says that Zack Hu- berty will be its new team man- ager for the National Enduro and GNCC Championships in 2015. The 23-year-old from West Ches- ter, Pennsylvania, will perform and oversee the mechanical as- pects of Cory Buttrick's and Jes- se Groemm's race bikes as well as help in building the team struc- ture. "It's exciting to have the op- portunity to work with Beta in 2015," said Huberty. "I've grown up with a passion for racing and to be in the position to oversee Beta's East Coast efforts is a dream come true. I'm enthusias- tic about the first GNCC and Na- tional Enduro races of 2015 with Cory Buttrick, Justin Sode and Jesse Groemm as our riders." Husqvarna has named Timmy Weigand as its North American Off-Road Racing Team Manager. "I am excited to say the least," Weigand said. "This is a great opportunity to work with a leg- endary brand and a great team. I am looking forward to working with Mike Brown and National Enduro Champion Andrew De- Long who will both be continuing with Husqvarna in 2015. Brownie is a tremendous competitor, and Andrew is really coming into his own. I'm thrilled to work with these guys, and build off of this year. We are looking to make a bigger push in 2015 and have an even greater presence in off-road racing." Current Off-Road Rac- ing Manager Andy Jefferson will finish out the season in his exist- ing role, as he also transitions into his new position as Media Relations Manager for Husqvar- na. "Timmy will be a natural fit into our Factory Off-Road Race Team," Jefferson commented. "We made some big strides in 2014 with two National Cham- pionships, and next year will be even better for Husqvarna. I am proud to hand off the off-road program to someone of Timmy's experience. He has a lot to offer as a mentor and a leader. We're all very excited to watch the off- road team climb to even greater heights in 2015." Motor S.p.A. No details have been disclosed of the price to be paid for the stake in MV Agusta Motor. Mercedes-AMG will appoint one member of MV Agusta's board of di- rectors. The partnership is still sub- ject to the approval of the relevant authorities, which is expected to be granted in late November.
