IN THE WIND P32 MALCOLM STEWART GOES GEICO G EICO Honda announces the signing of Malcolm Stewart to its team for the 2015 season. Stewart will compete in the 250 Supercross West class in the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Su- percross Series. Even though Stewart showed what he could do in the 450 class in the outdoor Nationals, Stewart said he's looking forward to returning to the 250 class for Supercross. "I'm excited for this opportuni- ty," Stewart said. "Obviously, the GEICO Honda team is a top-tier group that is always in conten- tion. I think my previous experi- ence in the 250 class, especially in 250 Supercross West, will help make this transition easier and get us off to a fast start." Stewart ended the 2014 250 Supercross West Championship in sixth place with three podium results and just one finish out- side the top 10. "I'm hoping to start the year off strong and get the results I think we are capable of achiev- ing," added Stewart. GEICO Honda team manager Mike LaRocco feels the addition of Stewart to the team will give an added veteran boost to the entire Supercross season, not just the West races. "We like to put our best foot for- ward on the West Coast," LaRoc- co said. "Not only is the majority of the industry located in this region, but the West riders kind of dictate the rest of the racing. The other riders really get to build some mo- mentum off the West guys if they're running well, and that's what we like to try to ensure." Malcolm Stewart joins GEICO Honda for the 2015 250 West Supercross Series.
