AGV's full-face K-3 SV helmet has an afford-
able price point, but still includes an internal
sunshield, an aerodynamic thermoplastic
shell, and a wind-tunnel-tested ventilation
system that includes four front vents and
two exhaust vents. Communication-ready
cutaways are built-in, and the washable
plush interior is removable. The K3 SV meets
DOT and ECE certification.

Coming in early 2015, Bell Helmets' latest
motocross helmet was designed to address an
array of impact scenarios, including rotational
impacts and high-, medium- and low-speed
impacts. It uses Bell's exclusive progressive-
layering technology – a system of three unique
protective materials, each designed to address
specific impact velocities. Rotational-energy
management is handled by a "slip zone" within
the impact liner that reduces rotational-energy
transfer. The inner layer conforms to a rider's
head for a better fit, and it meets Snell M2015
and DOT standards.
