he Prospectors MC couldn't have
asked for much better conditions for
round 7 of the AMA District 37/GPR
Stabilizer Big 6 Grand Prix series. Rains
on Friday night gave the parched dirt at the
Quail Canyon MX Track a much needed
soaking, leaving behind excellent traction
and clear, cool skies for the 29
th
Annual
Prospectors GP.
Eric Yorba didn't let a nasty cold get in
the way of wrapping up the West Coast GP
Pro title. Fortunately for the FMF/RPM KTM
rider, he needed little more than a decent
finish to wrap up the championship.
"I've been sick all week. This is my first
day out of bed," Yorba said. "I just needed
to get some points and wrap up the Pro title
today."
Aside from a slight tangle on the first lap, it
was relatively smooth sailing for Yorba, who
went on to finish second overall and first Pro.
