Davis was beyond ecstatic
about his first career victory, fol-
lowing a tumultuous season.
"The beginning of the year
didn't go the way I wanted and I
sort of went from an all-time low
to all-time high at the end of the
season," Davis said. "KR4 has re-
ally stepped up and provided me
with an awesome program and I
just couldn't be happier."
AMATEUR RACING
The WXC premier Women's class
brought some additional interna-
tional talent to the season finale
as Australia's Tayla Jones cap-
tured the overall win over Enduro-
Cross star Rachel Gutish in sec-
ond and N-Fab/AmPro Yamaha's
Jessica Patterson in third.

Chase Sexton captured the
Youth overall victory in just his
second-ever GNCC appearance.
As a top contender in the 85cc
divisions at the Loretta Lynn's
Amatuer Motocross National, as
well as a podium finisher at the
Monster Energy Cup, Sexton an-
nounced that the Ironman GNCC
would be his final race aboard
the 85cc machine as he makes
the move to a bigger bike this fall.

all running to secure the 2014
Youth Overall Championship be-
fore making the move into the top
