IN THE WIND P28 "ON ANY SUNDAY, THE NEXT CHAPTER" "O n Any Sunday, The Next Chapter" opens in theaters nationwide on November 7 and to celebrate the film's opening Red Bull Media House and Freeride Entertainment premiered the movie last week at the Dolby The- ater in Hollywood, California. Over 400 motorcycle riders from Southern California cruised in and parked their bikes along Hollywood Blvd to celebrate director Dana Brown's fol- low-up to the 1971 Academy Award- nominated docu- mentary, "On Any Sunday," which was directed by his father Bruce Brown, who also attended the pre- miere. Over 2000 fans watched the movie and welcomed dozens of celebrities who arrived to the Dolby Theatre on their motorcycles including 2014 "Celebrity Ap- prentice" contestant Lorenzo La- mas, Duff Goldman from "Ace of Cakes" and Phil Koeghan, host of "The Amazing Race." Stars from the film also came out to see the movie for their first time, including Travis Pastrana, free- style motocross pioneer Robbie Maddison, Pikes Peak Inter- national Hill Climb motorcycle champ Carlin Dunne, motocross legend Doug Henry, and custom motorcycle designer and former racer Roland Sands. THE ALTA REDSHIFT! O ne of the stars of the recent AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida, was the Redshift from Alta Motors – a full-sized electric motocrosser. The race focused Redshift retails for $14,995 with a street-legal Redshift SM (SuperMoto) version that's street legal selling for $15,495. According to Alta, the Redshift makes 40 horsepower from 11 pounds of motor. The bike weighs in at 251 pounds for the MX model and 264 pounds for the SM.
