BUILD YOUR OWN BETA

been ordered, you will be con-
tacted by BYOB specialists at
Beta USA who will make sure all
of the final details of the build are
addressed. Beta says that the av-
erage build time is 30-45 days.
Mine was delivered to me right
around the 30-day mark. (You
can have your bike delivered to
a Beta dealer of your choice.)
While I waited, a very cool Beta

dealer. This includes optional
fuel tanks, exhaust pipes, fuel
screws, and other air/fuel items.
These items will be shipped in
the crate with your new Beta with
the stock items left in place.
So what happens to the stock
parts that get replaced by the ac-
cessory parts? Beta keeps them,

they are able to sell you the ac-
cessory parts at a reduced price
(i.e. take-off credit), which saves
you money. So if you know that
you're going to buy that aftermar-

and save some bucks. There are
some exceptions, though, such
as suspension springs. Beta
cannot resell them, so if you or-
