VOL. 51 ISSUE 42 OCTOBER 21, 2014 P39
S
tar Motorcycles intro-
duce its newest ad-
dition to its popular
performance bobber line—a
sportier café-styled Bolt
C-Spec.
Powered by the same
945cc V-Twin powerplant
as its Bolt counterparts, the
C-Spec stands apart in styl-
ing with a new seat design
and removable seat cowl
to give it a more café racer
look.
But the C-Spec is not
just different in styling. In
the handling department, it
touts a 9mm longer fork and
2015 Star Bolt C-Spec
a 6mm longer shock that
increases ground clearance
by a full 1.5 inches. That
extra clearance translates
into four degrees more lean
angle for better canyon-
carving prowess. The
C-Spec also has a more
aggressive and sportier
riding position, which was
achieved by moving the
footpegs up and back.
And for those moments
when you want to tuck in at
speed, Yamaha has moved
the instrument cluster up for
higher visibility.
The Yamaha Bolt Spec-
C arrives in dealerships in
January for a base price of
$8,690 and comes in two
color options—Liquid Silver
and Envy Green.
