CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "… when Marc Marquez's career is over all the records will be completely smashed." Farm System In reference to last week's letter regarding Spain's farm system, it would be interesting to know how much of his childhood Mark Marquez wasted on Nin- tendo, X-Box and PS-anything. Get our youth outside and off the videos. Doug Mische Via the Internet The Cover Last week's cover (Issue 40, October 7) illustrates nicely the truism that one thing you don't want to be in a drag race is sideways. Tom Rafferty Via the Internet MotoAmerica Rules I like the new MotoAmerica rules for 2015; they make sense. The problem I have is a special class for Harley-David- son. Why can't a BMW GS or a some other bike run against the Harley, maybe an RS125. Oh that wouldn't fair, a bike one tenth the size. Watching the Harleys is like watching paint dry. Bring on a Moto3 class or the KTM390, and maybe a 500cc class. Let's get young kids involved like they do in Europe. Mark Hill Via the Internet Team Orders I don't know how anyone could smile when they know they really didn't win a race. It was handed to them. Randy Dawes Via Facebook Marquez Rules I'm a Valentino Rossi fan and Marc Marquez grew up a Rossi fan, but when his career is over all the records will be com- pletely smashed. He is also a great kid and a great face for the sport of MotoGP. Joe Rodriguez Via Facebook Red Bull Straight Rhythm Travis Pastrana made this event exciting - period. Without him it would be, meh. He brought excitement, something unique, with his monster two-stroke. And this coming from a non two-stroke guy. Michael Schultzee Via Facebook Red Bull Straight Rhythm II This event has lots of potential. I can see this being quite a draw for sponsors. If it does become a fixture in the moto- cross world, I can see many specialized motorcycles mak- ing their way to the paddock in the future. Travis's RM-Z 500 two-stroke would be just the tip of the iceberg. Jim Bunch Via Facebook Red Bull Straight Rhythm III Very entertaining. It would have been fun to see side-by-side slalom style turns in place of the sand pit. I'm looking for- ward to see what they come up with for next year.
