toAmerica is currently negotiating
for two additional classes. One of

Davidson spec class, according
to KRAVE's (the rights holders
to the AMA/FIM North American
Road Racing Championship)
Wayne Rainey in an interview in
last week's Cycle News.
"The 2015 MotoAmerica rac-
ing classes were designed to be
more performance oriented and
in line with FIM international road
racing classes," MotoAmerica
partner Chuck Aksland said in
a release. "These new racing
classes were created in col-
laboration with the AMA, FIM,
and with input from key industry
teams and partners. We are ex-
cited and looking forward to the
2015 MotoAmerica Motorcycle
Road Racing Championship sea-
son."

lat track racer Jethro Halbert
remains in a coma with head
injuries in Santa Rosa Memorial
Hospital in Santa Rosa, Califor-
nia, following his heat-race crash
in the Calistoga Half Mile on
September 28.
"My older brother Jethro is still
in a coma from his crash on Sat-
urday night at Calistoga," wrote
Jethro's brother and fellow racer
Sammy Halbert on his website.
"It's going to be a long road to
recovery, but we're optimistic
he's going to pull through this.
