affects things and also it is the
King's birthday because it affects
it as well. If Sepang moves then
maybe we can have another dou-
ble race."
As for the rest of the season, it
looks like much of the same, with
maybe Imola moving earlier in the
year. Most of the races will take
the corresponding weekend as
they had in 2014.
"We will keep all the 12 races
we had this year and as we are
including two new projects, like
Thailand and Chile, then we also
have the South African situation
and we also have a contract in
place with Russia," Carrera said.
"This makes a total of 16 races,
but we need to wait to wait until
the last week of October. The
situation in Russia seems to be
getting better. Phakisa… there
is a contract in place and if they
respect and they show us the
guarantees, not only to us but
the investment they need to fin-
ish the work to the track, it will be
included."

SUPERCROSS/MOTOCROSS:
CATCHING UP WITH CONTRACTS
S
eptember 30 seemed to
mark the end of old con-
tracts and the start of new ones
when it comes to riders, race
teams and the 2015 Supercross
and motocross season. A flurry
of announcements were made
during the first week of October,
including the signing of Ryan
Villopoto to the Monster Energy
Kawasaki Team of Europe for
the 2015 MXGP World Champi-
onship, and the signing of Blake
Baggett to the Yoshimura Su-
zuki Team, joining the returning
James Stewart.
Another major announcement
was the formal introduction of
2015 450 AMA Motocross Cham-
pion Ken Roczen to the Soaring
Eagle/RCH Suzuki Team at the
Suzuki dealer show at the Hard
Rock Hotel and Casino in Las
Vegas. This, however, came as
little surprise, as it was already
widely known for many months
that he'd be leaving Red Bull
KTM for the RCH Suzuki ride.
Roczen first made waves riding
for Suzuki early in his Grand Prix
days. He'll be teamed with re-
turning rider Brock Tickle.
The Roczen-to-RCH rumor
was further cemented when the
Red Bull KTM team had earlier
announced the signing of Dean
Wilson, the former AMA 250 MX
Champion and long-time mem-
ber of the Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit/Kawasaki Team. Wilson
joins returning rider Ryan Dung-
ey for the 450 class in both Su-
percross and motocross.
Red Bull KTM continues
with former MX2 World Cham-
pion Marvin Musquin and newly
signed Justin Hill, the former
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Ka-
wasaki Team rider who won his
first 250 Supercross race this
year, for its 250 program.
Dean Wilson will
be Ryan Dungey's
new teammate at
Red Bull KTM.
