lie Mullins, who suffered from a
double wrist injury and missed
the last four rounds, as well as
his Factory FMF/KTM teammate
Steward Baylor, who also sat out
a few rounds this season with
wrist injuries. With 18 riders on
the front row, including multiple
National Champions, visiting in-
ternational stars, and several of
the sport's most promising up-
and-comers, the stage was set
for the ultimate showdown in
off-road racing.

Whibley got a good jump off
the start and Russell was right
by his side as the duo led the
field into the first lap. By the end
of lap one, though, Mullins had

Russell close behind. N-Fab

Briefly...
So what was it really like to race a
150cc two-stroke for three hours
against some of the best off-road
racers in the world, who also happen
to be carrying 100cc worth of extra
power? According to Kailub Rus-
sell, "It was fun for a little while but
the misery kind of set in after a while.
Just not having enough power to
go up some of the hills and through
the bumps was really rough. I'm way
underpowered out there, like I had
a couple guys blow by me on the
first couple laps like it was nothing.

Hopefully it's wet because I think I've
got something for those guys in the
ruts. I might have to go the long way
around the hills and everything, but I
was really killing it in the ruts [today]
so it should be fun."
It was another unfortunate day for
RideMPS.com/AMSOIL Honda's

opening laps but around lap three
he pulled into the pits and never re-
turned to the race.
It was informally announced last

GNCC in preparation for what ap-

2015 with the AmPro Yamaha squad.
Milner made international news last
year when he won the Enduro 2
class at last year's ISDE in Sardinia.
The Yamaha rider was also the Aus-
tralian Off-Road Champion in 2013,
and most recently the Australian
4-Day Enduro Champion.
Milner commented on his day at the
Powerline Park GNCC, "The race
today didn't go too well, I got a bad
