Nelson took the final spot on the
podium officially before the Mus-
quin/Hill finale.
Musquin made short work
of his new teammate to take
the first-ever Red Bull Straight
Rhythm 250cc Championship.
"I felt like my semi-final [against
Bogle] was tougher than the main
because Justin Bogle was doing
pretty good and I felt like it was
easier to beat Justin Hill than
Justin Bogle," Musquin said after
the race. "But it was tough all the
time. It's stressful, you know? You
don't want to make any mistakes
and you want to be fast. My starts
were okay and my bike was do-
ing really good. I was shifting at

fun and was killing it in the whoops
on his custom 500cc two-stroke-
powered RM-Z Suzuki.

with Josh Hansen with one of those
battles ending with a back flip. Han-
sen, however, beat him to advance.
