VOL. 51 ISSUE 40 OCTOBER 7, 2014 P39 A fter weeks of teasers, sound bites and video clips, Kawasaki finally yanked the covers off its latest secret project—the supercharged Ninja H2R. In the weeks lead- ing up to its debut, Kawa- saki hinted—well, more than hinted—that the H2R was all about speed, and they weren't kidding. It's so fast and power- ful that it can only be ridden on the track. The H2R comes fitted with slick racing tires, no mirrors, no blinkers and track mufflers, and is claimed to pump out about 300 horse- power from its 998cc inline- four supercharged engine. Kawasaki says that when the Ninja H2R was conceived, the driving concept behind its development was to offer the kind of acceleration most riders had never experienced Kawasaki Ninja H2R
