>>MOTOGP 2015
T
he provisional 2015 calendar was announced
at Aragon – as a close carbon copy of this
year's 18 races. The putative Brazilian round is
completely absent, and the time intervals (gener-
ally a race every two weeks, once it gets going)
are the same as this year.
The only significant change is the venue of the
British GP, to be held at Donington Park rather
than Silverstone, as a substitute for the as yet un-
built Circuit of Wales, which has a five-plus-five-
year contract until 2024.
Qatar is a night race, as always; Assen the only
one on a Saturday; Indianapolis remains on the
calendar.
The schedule is as follows:
March 29 – Qatar, Doha/Losail
April 12 – Texas, Circuit of the Americas/Austin
April 19 – Argentina, Termas del Rio Hondo
May 3 – Spain, Jerez
May 17 – France, Le Mans
May 31 – Italy, Mugello
June 14 – Spain, Catalunya
June 27 – Holland, Assen
July 12 – Germany, Sachsenring
August 9 – Indiana, Indianapolis
August 16 – Czech Republic, Brno
August 30 – Great Britain, Donington Park
September 13 – San Marino, Misano
September 27 – Aragon, Motorland Aragon
October 11 – Japan, Motegi
October 18 – Australia, Phillip Island
October 25 – Malaysia, Sepang
November 8 – Spain, Valencia
