Open B points leader Ryan Blasdell
was unable to ride the Sunday morn-
ing race after finding his number-24
2011 Kawasaki KX250F stolen from
the back of his truck on Saturday
evening. He'd stopped for dinner
at the Bass Pro Shops in Council
Bluffs, and when he returned about
20 minutes later, the bike was gone—
the tie-downs cut and his ramp laying
on the ground. If you see the bike,
please relay information to the Coun-
cil Bluffs Police Department at 712-

Last year, Russell Bobbitt clinched
the OMA Championship at Council
Bluffs, a title he was unable to de-
fend after injuring his knee at the
beginning of the year. This year, Paul
Whibley also clinched the champion-
ship at Council Bluffs. They're ex-
pected to face each other for the first
time this season at the Moose Run,
the series finale, on November 2 in
Fenton, Illinois.
Reflecting on his record-stretching
half-dozen OMA Championships,
Paul Whibley said, "You sort of
wonder where all the time's gone.
Six championships—it's flown by, re-
ally. Six championships in the OMA
series is pretty cool."
