in eighth; his returned teammate
Nicky Hayden ninth.
"All things considered, away
three months, rebuilt wrist – a
top-10 finish and good points, I've
got to be happy," Hayden said.
"Maybe I could have taken a few
more chances in the damp, made
up a position or two, but I wanted
to be smart this weekend. My
whole hand is sore, especially my
thumb, holding on in braking, so
hopefully I can recover a bit more
for Japan, because I'm going to
need it there... the hardest brak-
ing track in the championship."
The rest trailed in: Go&Fun
Honda's Scott Redding 10th;
then Danilo Petrucci (Ioda ART)
and Alex de Angelis (NGM Ya-
maha), still well clear of Marquez
and Pedrosa, with Yonny Hernan-
dez (Pramac Ducati) taking the
last point, the last rider not to be
lapped.
The result had little effect on
the championship, beyond pos-
sibly prolonging the decision for
one more race: Marquez now
