Scrambles Championship Se-
ries at The Ranch managed to
get their 90-minute event com-
pleted—despite a very unusual
mid-race interruption—with THR
Motorsports/Monster Energy/
Precision Concepts Kawasaki's
Ricky Brabec taking his first-ever
victory in both series.
But early leader and eventual
third-place finisher Jacob Ar-
gubright of the Bel-Ray/FMF/
Moose Racing Husqvarna Facto-
ry Off-Road Team had more rea-
son to celebrate as he wrapped
up the hare scrambles title with
round nine still to go. His only
mathematical challenger—KTM-
mounted privateer Justin Bo-
nita—had missed three rounds
compared to Argubright's two
throwaways and 10th in WCGP
Pro for the day mathematically
eliminates him from title conten-
tion.
