RABAT AGAIN!
Long straights and good slip-
streaming chances yielded a for-once
exciting race up front in Moto2,
decided only at the last gasp and with
the front three over the line inside just
over .2 of a second of each other.
Only the name of the winner was a
little predictable. Tito Rabat chased
and caught Marc VDS Kalex team-
mate Mike Kallio to claim his sixth win
of the year.
AirAsia Caterham's Johann Zarco
had been on pole for the first time, and
he led away, and for the early laps he
and Kallio exchanged the lead while
second-row starter Rabat was severely
troubled by a harrying gang, led first
by Simone Corsi and then by Jonas
Folger.
When Zarco was also subsumed by
the brawl, Kallio made the most of it
and by lap 12 had a lead of almost two
seconds.

setting about Rabat.
He seemed to have the upper hand,
but Rabat has a trick of speeding up
towards the end of a race, while Kallio
was running out of steam.
Rabat passed Kallio on lap 17; Kal-
lio got him back before the end of it,
and the trio started the last lap locked
together. Any one of them could have
won, but only if Rabat hadn't been the
strongest. He pushed past Kallio again
and proved impossible to pass, with
the antics of the title rivals making sure
that Vinales never had a chance to
pass either.
Zarco was a couple of seconds
away in fourth; five seconds further
Thomas Luthi finally managed to
