Next on schedule for the MotoGP World Champion-
ship is the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit. The
great Marc Marquez 10-race win streak was broken
at the previous round in the Czech Republic so can
the reigning champ get back on the winning horse so
to speak? Now that there's a little blood in the water
there are plenty of his rivals looking to get their first
win of the year, including last year's British GP winner
Jorge Lorenzo.

There's not many better ways to spend the holiday
weekend than at the fairgrounds watching the best in
the AMA Grand National Championship going for the
win at the Springfield Mile Part II. Memorial Day week-
end it was Flyin' Bryan Smith who took top honors at
the Springfield Mile. He'll be looking to repeat and take
his fourth mile win of the year and add some cushion
to his championship lead.

The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Race Series gets back
to action for the final round before the Countdown
to the Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana. So
far only four have clinched a playoff berth: the
Screamin' Eagle Vance & Hines duo of Andrew
Hines and Eddie Krawiec; and the father and son
duo of Hector Arana Jr. and Sr. Which other six will
join them for the shot at the title come November
in Pomona?
